WHAT IS DECKS 4 CANCER?
Decks 4 Cancer is a grassroots charity auctioning one-of-a-kind skateboard decks painted by street artists, athletes, musicians, and creators from around the world, with every piece raising money to support cancer sufferers in their immediate journey.
These decks aren’t just art, many become unique memorabilia pieces signed by public figures across skate, sport, music, and pop culture.
WHY WE’RE HERE
This cause is deeply personal.
Decks 4 Cancer was born from founder Samuel Macpherson’s desire to support his mum during her long battle with breast cancer. What started as an idea for a single art deck has now grown into a mission to help others facing cancer, using creativity, skate culture, and community to raise funds and awareness.

WHAT WE’RE RAISING FUNDS FOR
We’re currently raising $25,000 to officially launch Decks 4 Cancer.
These funds will go toward:

Legal setup and registration as a charity

Shipping costs to and from artists

Marketing and promo materials

The first 100 prints for normal skateboard decks made with quailty Folklore Skateboards and available all year round

Every dollar gets us closer to helping more people, and launching our first deck auctions.
HOW IT WORKS

Artists and public figures receive a blank art deck (thanks to Folklore Skateboards) engraved with our logo, along with a cancer-pink paint pen (thanks to Sprayism/Ironlak)

They create a one-of-a-kind design, the only creative rule: it must feature a pink cancer ribbon

Completed decks are shipped back to us, then professionally photographed

We promote and auction each deck online, once a month, worldwide

Until we establish our own direct outreach programs to support families affected by cancer, funds will predominantly be donated to the charities Ronald McDonald House and the McGrath Foundation
In time there will be merchandise available, a 24hr donation line, subscription news letter (one a month, telling you what we sold the last auction for, what the next auction is and any related details to the charity) and hopefully much more.
